We were entertained by The Cadence on 8th June 2007 at The Kings Arms in Kingsteignton. The music played was to a very good standard with plenty of variety. We were very impressed at the number of songs performed - with little or no gap between. The band rose to the occasion and belted out more classics. We thoroughly enjoyed the concert and intend enjoying more of the same.

Raising the standard of live music at the Merriemeade, The Cadence were a step up from your average pub band with a high energy set that spanned 5 decades of music from rock'n'roll to disco, rock, blues, soul and funk. We especially enjoyed the Status Quo performance, I was out of breath myself by the end. This is a really professional band who obviously get a huge kick out of what they do. Excellent night!!!

We would like to thank you so very much for playing at Emily's Ball, you made the evening a huge success. You were absolutely fantastic and everyone had a wonderful night.
We have hopefully raised just over £5,000 that we can divide between Children's Hospice Southwest and Clic Sargent. For my first attempt of arranging a ball I am extremely pleased with the outcome and also extremely proud.
Everyone played a part to make the ball a success and I am overwhelmed with peoples generosity towards supporting the event.
