Since 2005 "The Cadence" has become a name associated with excellent live entertainment in the South West and with this reputation to live up to, we always guarantee a highly charged and enjoyable evening that won't be forgotten.

We provide a reliable and friendly service and pride ourselves on working to an exceptionally high standard as professional musicians.

From the outset, demand for "The Cadence" has been phenomenal. With some clients booking events up to three years in advance, we must be doing something right. Our philosophy of musical dynamics combined with generous helpings of fun and enthusiasm has made us the right choice to play at festivals, functions, corporate events, music venues and charities.

Charities

From the very start events raising money for good causes was high on our priority list. We have helped to raise well over £50,000 for national causes such as The British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK and Help for Heroes,
as well as those closer to home such as Devon Air Ambulance, A.I.M.S and
The Snooky Trust. In 2010 Pete even donated one of his guitars at the end of the night for The Macmillan Trust to auction.

Functions

We have a wealth of experience in the corporate entertainment field and have performed at venues from village halls to castles. We aim to create the atmosphere of energy and excitement that only a live band can provide.

Weddings

We like to give weddings a more personal touch and encourage clients to choose their favourite songs from our large repertoire. We can even learn a particular song for your first dance if enough notice is given.

Music Venues

We have regular bookings at a number of local live music venues (see the date sheet for details). Come along and buy us a drink and a packet of crisps (the rhythm section prefer ready salted whilst the front line are more your cheese and onion types). If we are not playing at a venue near you, harangue the landlord until he books us!
