Cadence (kayd'ns) noun.

Balanced, rhythmic flow, as of poetry or oratory.
The measure or beat of movement, as in dancing or marching.
1. A falling inflection of the voice, as at the end of a sentence.
2. General inflection or modulation of the voice.
Music. A progression of chords moving to a harmonic close, point of rest, or sense of resolution.

A collaboration of some of the finest musicians in the area, The Cadence bring you superb live pop, rock, funk, and soul music in style. Get on the floor to some of the greatest and best loved classic high-octane hits from the 50's onwards, and we promise we'll leave you wanting more!

We've performed at weddings, black tie balls, charity events, parties, functions, carnivals, beer festivals, bike shows and local music venues throughout the South West.

Our Devon based band offers a variety of options for your wedding or function depending on your requirements, including a top of the range Mackie/Allen & Heath PA, stage lighting, the latest digital dance floor lights and even a sophisticated jazz set.

The band were absolutely brilliant, and we all felt for them as they had such trouble with their transport. However, you wouldn't have known it as they performed amazingly and the entire place was jumping by the end of the evening. Robin and I didn't want to leave! Please pass on huge thanks from us for doing such a fantastic job. All of our guests (including the old farts) have commented on the band and how brilliant they are.
